You would have to rewrite three characters and a dungeon and get new VAs to even begin to indulge his foolish whims. He's basically read a newspaper article once.
The domain "p4re.jp" was registered a month ago so there's a really good chance it'll come out next year at the earliest actually. the same thing happened with p3re.jp being registered - the game was revealed a few months after. (as well as a few other domains for the side games)
Shihoko Hirata also wrote a post on Instagram saying she's working on a huge new project around the same time (7w ago), and her most notable work is the soundtrack for P4
So unlike P3, where fans wanted a definitive version and were asking for a remake, P4 doesn’t have that issue.
Could a remake be fun? Sure. But no one is demanding it as a necessity
(arguably P3 fans still didn’t get what they wanted since asking for a “remake” doesn’t mean Atlus would make it definitive. So now there are 3 versions of P3, each with their own advantages instead of just two lol)
