Game keeps crashing after Mitsuo's Shadow

i have beat the boss more times that i can count i lowered the graphics,resolution, uninstalled reinstalled, moved to a different drive nothing fixes it.

That's because you got the secret golden ending. In which t he game ends after you defeat Mitsuo.

well only work around was going to a friends house beating it at on his laptop then going home with the cloud save

Might be a hardware problem. What's your setup?

I had this same problem running the game on an RX 6700 XT. The solution I found was to download the drive version 21.6.1 after that it ran normally

Are you using any mods and/or cheats?
I've had a weird issue where using XP multiplier would crash the game when Social Link Points increased, even though those are two entirely separate values.

So that can be one reason, the game is a bit finicky with in-memory editing... otherwise, as the others suggested, try updating drivers.
