Secret boss too easy? [spoiler] Margaret [/spoiler] disappointing fight

Yesterday I finally platinumed Persona 4 Golden and the last trophy i needed was beating the secret boss: Margaret . Since I've read so many threads on reddit/steam I expected it to be a hard battle, therefore i got my party members to 99 lvl, made an invincible yoshitsune and then grinded Reaper fight to get the best equipment for yukiko, yusuke and chie.

And...

I beat her 1st try. I was in shock how little dmg she was doing, I was in shock how I was never really threatend and only used 1 soma to regenerate chie's SP (dragon hustle + chakra ring is still 75 SP so I needed to replenish it once ). I've read about 9999 megidolaon, but in my fight she dealt like few hundred per attack. Yoshitsune got enduring soul, but it was never needed. I'll add that I beat her on normal difficulty.

I realise I might be a bit overprepared, but to me this fight was way to easy, especially compared to secret bosses in p5r (especially Lavenza , she was unbearable ).

What are Your thoughts? Do You think she is difficult enough? Was she a breeze in Your playthrough too? I would love to read about Your first encounter with her.

You're bragging when it wasn't even on very hard. But even on very hard that boss isn't difficult with a level 99 party. It's possible to beat that boss with a level 70 party without Yoshitsune. I have done it many times with Yosuke, Kanji and Teddie. You don't even need Shield of Justice to win. It's on Youtube. About the 9999 Megidolaon, she will use it after 50 turns and will use it again on her 100th turn. The point of the battle is you're on a time limit and you need to beat her before she kills you with this. Although Shield of Justice is overpowered because it can actually block this attack.

But anyway congrats on the platinum. I was happy when I got mines. I was able to do whatever I want in the game now. More time for bike rides and movie theaters.

yes she is easy even on hard mode, (very hard mode difference only gives less exp and money, and you already reached level 99, so very hard doesn't matter), she doesn't have any gimmick, only healing phase, if you could beat her before she use diarahan then you are really a good player

also, yukiko and chie reaper weapon both are bad, better get tambourine from shiroku pub this one has +3 all stats, and chie weapon only works if she does normal attack, i personally equip amami leg which has high counter effect but this one is bad against her, perhaps hero leg is better +4 luck for chie instead of crit rate (high), yosuke evade physic (high) is really good when she cast hassou tobi

1vs1 Isn't hard because she won't be hitting your weakness. And most people that do it usually bring a persona with 99 on all stats. The only way to make Golden Margaret hard is to nerf yourself. Like the way I did.

1. Level 70 party. I did it with this 12 times:
Protagonist: 70
Yosuke: 73
Kanji: 74
Teddie: 75

2. No Yoshitsune or a persona with 99 on all stats.

Doesn't help she's new game+ only. Making you replay the whole game, while your persona gains a lot more stat cards while on your way to Margaret.
