Was anyone else disappointed with the reveals? (Spoilers)
Teddie being a shadow that decided to be human one day is some of the most stupid nonsense I have seen in a video game. Adachi's weak, coincidental reasons for killing including what little crime he actually did because someone else was was also coincidentally throwing people into TVs. The big bad behind the scenes who apparently did nothing but pumped gas for a year.

I don't know why I was expecting anything sophisticated from a game about teenagers hopping into TVs to fight shadows but I was expecting something a bit more creative. For a game with a story that's somewhat based on the complex concept of the unconscious and inner selves it sure is basic when it comes to what could have been deep and interesting story elements.

I was spoiled of the real killer long ago so I was expecting the midnight channel to be of Adachi's creation somehow with Teddie (because of his amnesia) being some sort of remains of the good Adachi once had left behind in the shadow world which is way more thought provoking than simply; "I want to be appealing to humans." This must be some sort of theme/chiche involving nonhuman characters eventually becoming human because P3 does the same exact thing with Aigis and I did't care for that either. Adachi could have been the fog god, or whatever it was exactly, testing humanity's resolve instead of the rando, lowly gas attendant. It comes off as if the writers came up with characters and events with no well thought out plan on how to link them together to be reasonable within the game's fictional world.

Seriously, though. Izanami was fueling peoples cars until you call her out. Probably would keep doing so if you didn't.

He's pretty spot on. While I love Persona and Persona 4, it is easily the weakest out of the 'modern' Persona games.

Persona 5 does the non-humans wanting to be human with Morgana as well. Not really spoilers as Morgana is open about it from the very start of the game. I think Morgana's makes the most sense overall, but Aigis' also makes sense. Teddy makes the least sense.

I think you missed/misunderstood a few things.

Firstly, I'm not even sure what you mean by the first statement with how its written, but no one was "coincidentally throwing people into TVs". Assuming you are referring to Namatame, there was no coincidence to his actions, he acted in direct response to Adachi's murders.

And no, Izanami was not fuelling cars all year. Even for us, she was only there during rainy days, and for others, she may not have been there at all; Dojima directly says he never saw her again. In all likelihood it was simply a disguise she used occasionally to influence mortals.

I kinda agree. I don't get the love for Adachi. He's a contradictory character and has no real motive besides being bad in exactly the way necessary for the plot to happen.

Adachi's first kill was literally him accidentally pushing a woman into a tv. Namatame, coincidentally, does the same thing to people except with the belief that he is saving them.

That is not a coincidence--it was deliberately instigated by Adachi. For no real reason and it only happened because of dumb luck, but that's the story.

I...find it concerning that you "relate" to Adachi. I shouldn't have to say why.

I know all fans meme about him but seriously tho hes so...common
Lazy, slacking off, puts on mask in public, has no interest in romance
Only thing i dont relate to him is others calling me a goofball or talking things i shouldnt

You forgot narcissistic, sociopathic murderer and attempted rapist. In my view, those particular qualities are way more defining than "goofball," and that's assuming him being such a goof was real and not just him being manipulative.

He's pretty spot on. While I love Persona and Persona 4, it is easily the weakest out of the 'modern' Persona games.

Persona 4 is the best in the series, Persona 5 is the worst.

Despite base Persona 5 outselling every singles other Persona's first weeks combined (at the time, obviously) only in it's first week. If you define that as a bad game, you are just riding on nostalgia and a very big reason why most devs won't try anything new. They keep managing to bait people cuz people seem to have glued their rose tinted glasses onto their face.
