HOW do i get HIT with ailments?

Im trying to get the risette achievement and i have literally modded my game to give everyone except yu low level, low defence/agi/lu etc and everytime a shadow does an ailment attack it misses EVERYONE, what even causes an ailment to miss? I WANT to get hit with it

Luck is what effects the accuracy of Light, Dark, critical hits and aliments.

No im not trying to hit shadows with ailments, im trying to get hit BY shadows with fear, poison etc, although i seem to have found a pattern, guarding will guarantee a 99% chance of missing shadow ailments but using items is basically the same as doing nothing so i bought a bunch of trash items i can use in battle making my party members much much more likely to get hit with ailments, already gone up 8 more lines in the past 30 mins

Oh yeah that's what really annoying about the trophy. There's no way to just pass a character's turn without them doing anything. Actually Luck also effect your chance of getting hit by aliments and vice versa. But it looks like you found the problem.
