Your level actually doesn't matter against this boss that much. Both Shadow Rise and Shadow Teddie can be destroyed by Magic Mirrors. Jack Frost is a good persona for Shadow Teddie because he's immune to ice and has Ice Break. If you give him Rakunda then Shadow Teddie will take big damage when you reflect Mabafulula back at him. He gives you a warning that his Mabulula is coming when he uses Mind Charge. Physical Mirror can protect you from his Heat Wave.

But then again the problem with the Magic Mirror item is, not everyone likes to farm it because it requires RNG to get from treasure chest. And people don't know what floor has it. I was level 18 when I first beat the Striptease dungeon.

Magic Mirror is a very good strategy.

But for the ones like me that don't want to farm, here's my tip: before Heat Wave the boss will be charging for 2 turns, the firs one you can treat all your party and buff if possible, the second you put everyone to guard stance. If you use a persona that negate/resist ice, Yukiko will be really the only one that will be in trouble with Mabufula, so buff her with anything that will protect agains ice (ice wall or magic mirror if you have it).

Wtf level 18 how did u beat the minibosses????

I beat it with Physical Mirror. There's a way to survive the first attack easily. You can find an item called "Patient Collar" on the first floor of Marukyu Striptease, inside golden treasure chest. It gives you the "Endure" effect. Yosuke doesn't need this item because I always max out his social link before this dungeon. Once you survive it the boss can't kill you if you have a lot of Physical Mirrors. But farming this item can be a pain. At this point of the game you can find Physical Mirror on the 4th floor of Yukiko's Castle and on the 2nd floor of Steamy Bathhouse. Marukyu Striptease has it too but I forgot what floor.

I have a video of it. I didn't have Patient Collar here because I was unaware of this dungeon having that item in my first playthrough. I didn't know the item existed until Void Quest. So I kept restarting until the MC dodged the first attack.

To be fair, I think this question really depends on the difficulty. I didn't have too much difficulty with him in easy or lower at these levels, but I'm making my way up the difficulty ladder with my NG+s. My recommendation is that if you're at that level, you should really rely on blocking the Nihil Hand properly, and even not using as much SP in fights against Shadow Rise. That way, you have plenty of healing SP from the other teammates and such. However, I also recommend getting really nice gear, and that may take more effort in order to get the protective gear that you need. Selling ingredients to Daidara Weapons Shop will hopefully get you stronger items for attacking as well as better items for defending. Also, it's my personal preference to not sacrifice accuracy for higher attack stats. Good luck to all of those who are making the way through the game!
