Beach Guardian help

On so its January 25 and I only have the fox link left to do, I cannot catch this darn beach fish. I have the Genji Beetle and I already caught the river one. I dont know if Im just screwed cause there's no more rainy beach days, and snow days are just cloudy on the beach for some reason? Is this a bug or am I just getting slapped by RNG

Just keep trying til you see the splashes, if you don't see them, re-cast. Sea guardian very rare if you catch on non-rainy days

It's a pain in the ass, but it's just Genji Beetles. If you don't see the splashes, reel it in immediately and recast. It will work.

Use Genji Beetles, it's always catchable in December January and February regardless of the weather. It's just a rare catch.

RNG, you technically can get them during any day, with any weather, as long as you have the proper bait. On my second playthrough, I hacked the game and got the river guardian the day I was able to get the fishing pole, and while the chances are smaller, it's still the same bait mechanics.
