oh I may have set my bar way too high for the rest of the series then......
I swear if I play Nocturne and it's as easy as this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
https://streamable.com/pwa283
but like i'm fine and haveing no problems now i'm evening playing the SNES one Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei (due to crashing on the nes one) after i beat both games in Kyuuyaku i'm going to do the Snes Shin Megami Tensei or the PS1 ones depending on what English translations I can find it they need them
not going to play NINE i will play Nocturne
I never said it was one of the hardest games. However, since my expectations going into this game was that it was on par with Persona 5, it seems harder for reasons I didn't quite understand.
I appreciate all the great advice given to me. Thank you all for your input. I don't think the boss of Yukiko's dungeon was particularly hard. I just went into it on day 1 extremely underleveled, having used all my health/sp items and wondering why I couldn't clear it ASAP. And considering I bought gear before going into the dungeon, I thought I was prepared.
I didn't. I even skipped floors after the fight with the Knight because I was so low on SP. I'll be more patient next time.
I do agree though SP management at the beginning is much harder then by end game but Being smart with SP will go far but you can get cheep SP items befor going in and be just fine
and remember even if you are having problems it's okay to go back out and restock on SP
just take your time
there's a difficulty and artificial difficulty if I die because Yuko refuses to heal me when i'm at 80% Hp and need to be at 100% that on the game not on me
if I want to go play a game where I'll never get healing when I need it I'll go play Final Fantasy XIV
Was also just a response to the OP saying this game is hard. I completed the PS2 version literally right before I purchased the Steam Golden version... and it's noticeably easier.
Yeah, I played P3 FES and was like "screw this" when I heard there was a version where you could directly control your party members.
my next playthrough is going to be very hard anyways
PS2 version isn't that bad once you start learning how to issue commands (make sure Mitsuru is on Full Assault!) but they'd still do dumb things from time to time.
I just easily cleared P5/P5R and had never played a Persona game before that. So, RELATIVE to Persona 5, this game is hard IMO IMO IMO.
I've researched all the persona games all the way back to the 1992 Megami Tensei, and I acknowledge that those games are SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult than the new games.
I guess a good analogy is Sekiro. I also thought Sekiro was insanely hard after destroying the entire Dark Souls franchise. But then, after retraining myself, I 100%ed it on Steam.
