No 3rd Rainy Brother at Marikyu Striptease?

OK, its been over a decade since I played the original P4, but I still have some of the notes I took down in regard to required number of material drops. I also know that certain rare shadows only appear when it rains and they have rare drops for the best weapons and armor that can be made by the old guy at the weapons store. So its 6/25 and not only is it raining its showing a lightning icon. I have encountered so many 3rd Rainy Sisters that I have over 90 3rd Girl's Talc when I need only one. But not a single 3rd Rainy Bro has shown up. Is this something they changed in Golden or is it a bug?
That said, all this grinding for materials has reminded me of the thing I really did not like about P4 when I originally played it - the incessant grinding to look for a shadow that may or may not show up. Despite all the times I've run up and down Marikyu Striptease, not only have I not seen a single 3rd Rainy Bro, so few Idle Basalts have shown up that I have only 4 of the 6 required Idle Stone Iron drops. I know the Persona wikia has lists of what floors to find certain shadow but I also know that in many cases that information is wrong, so I normally run up and down the complete number of floors.

I made a topic asking for the 3rd Rainy Brothers and nobody answered me so... I think it is a bug or they appear on your NG+. I farmed the 5-6 floors like the wiki say and the 7-10 floors just in case but no luck. The others rainy shadows appear with no problem.

To answer both of you, Rainy Brother 3 was removed from Golden for... some reason. Nobody's sure why, but the point is they don't show up anymore. By extension it's impossible to get the Downpour Sword too.

The plus side is you're set on money for a while if you grinded to try and find it, lol.

Oh, thank you for the info :). I played the vanilla version so I didn't know about this change in the Golden version.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have over a million yen and went up quite a few levels as well. So the boss fight was easier than what I remember. P4 was the first Atlus game I ever purchased and just the 2nd console game. I liked it so much I bought P3 FES next. This is a much different game than the original P4 I remember. I think its a lot easier - what I remember of the original P4 was that it was really hard to rescue Yukiko in one try due to the lack of SP replenishment items (just those few drinks). With the shuffle time SP replenishment and the fact that you can get more than just soul drops and at a higher frequency from the chests and that the chests restock when you change floors, rescuing Yukiko in one go wasn't an issue.
