Sea guardian
Is it possible to catch the sea guardian without having the fox quest for rank 10 of hermit s.link?

yes it's possible, as long as u have genji beetle, u can buy them 3 of them from tanaka amazing commodity, to get more genji beetle u need to have rank 10 fox quest though.

Thank you man, i've been trying to catch that damn fish for like 3 hours and It never took the bait, i was starting to think i miss something

u are welcome, also my little tip fish it during rain / stormy rain, it will increase the chance u might get sea guardian easier instead of meguro tuna.

i forgot to mention, about genji beetle, beside u unlock rank 10 quest u need to ask bait for sea guardian to grandpa near samegawa river, then u can start catch more genji beetle during evening time only, don't ever catch bug during daytime any longer.
