Am i crazy? My version of P4G always had this option.
I keep getting this error even after the update. Game closes at launch and/or gives me that error, please tell me how to fix it.
Read this carefully Sega!
- Performance massively improved
- Filesystem now like P5R
- New graphics settings
- New quick save/suspend feature
- The AOA stutter is fixed
- Fixed title screen logo and "retum to Inaba"
- Dojima's sprite can now blink
- Various font changes
- They've also fixed the NG+ save slot "RESERVE" bug (appears pink as it's meant to)
- They even fixed the S. Link font and sub-text stroke outline inconsistency.
- The video files are now actual USMs rather than WMVs with the extension renamed; I know a lot of people had issues with cutscenes crashing, black screens etc with the current build of P4G so this is potentially good news.
- Another long overdue fix: Persona skill animations now play correctly at animations higher than 30 fps. E.g. The trail effect behind Izanagi-no-Okami's sword as it spins now matches the movement/speed of the model.
- Now appears to be named "Remaster Edition" rather than "Steam Edition"
- Also, yes there are files for multiple languages/localisations.
- SOS now has a prompt overlayed in dungeons to tell you which button you actually have to press to use it
Settings changes are as follows:
+ "Sound Output Device" selection
+ "Graphics Presets" (high, medium, low)
- "Animation Quality" REMOVED (not needed with better video encodes)
+ FPS Limit (30, 60, 90, 120) - can't uncap anymore
+ Button Display (manual controller UI selection)
some less positive points (it's unknown if these issues were fixed since beta or not):
- still has denuvo
- textures still poorly waifu2x'd
- still can't disable motion blur
- TexWrap bug still hasn't been fixed
- The skill description inaccuracies ("Arm Chopper" described as hitting once when it actually hits 2x etc.) are unfortunately still not fixed.
- Igor's model still doesn't blink despite his portrait doing so.
- Culprit boss fight still has the AI oversight
The audio sounds better too, noticing treble that I didn't notice before, but I could be mistaken since I'm booting up the game after months.
The opening movie before the main menu appears looks slightly different- slightly grainy and lower resolution than before? Again I could be mistaken. Rest of everything looks sharper, cleaner, and with better gamma. Hope the game code is stable. Appreciate this update by the Devs!
AOA stutter is fixed though so thanks.
