Yosuke and Chie were killing it from the very get-go. Usually I stick with Japanese voices, but I gave it a shot thanks to a friend, and I loved it. Yosuke's a total bro, and I love his desperation when embarrassing stuff comes to light. Chie's is PERFECT. Love her so much.
Yukiko started off very stiff, like she was reading from a script, or that she wasn't very confident in her voice. But after we see her true self and she opens up to us, Yukiko's voice actress hit it out of the park! I came to realize: That early-on, stiff performance was on PURPOSE! Great work. I love how dorky she is and her laughs are great! (Drunk Yukiko has the best voicework in the game hands down!)
Teddie's is annoying at many times, but that's the point, and it works so well with him. No complaints.
Kanji was amazing. Probably the best voice acting in the game.
Rise's voice actress nailed it. She sounds perfect for her.
Naoto's voice, while very good, great at times, feels like the least impressive of the main party. Her voice suits her very well, but it's just a testament to the other's voicework, really.
And for some side characters I was very fond of:
Nanako: At first she was a little cringe, but very very quickly became endearing and just rocketed to perfect little imouto you must protect!
Adachi: I love how his bumbling idiot personality is replicated perfectly through his lines, but when he gets serious with Yu you can tell how he's just a 27 year old trying to make his way through life. Very real character.
Kou: Voice doesn't exactly match the looks, but his actor did a great job. His quips and even his 'Eating Lunch' lines land real well.
Sayoko: What can I say here? Very good actress :^)
