if I decided to look for Marie in the January do i have to finish the dungeon?

Pretty sure you're locked into it. It's not SUPER hard.

No you are stuck doing it. It is not that difficult. All you need to do to make life easier in that palace is to do item collecting. There are items that you WILL need for the boss.

If you leveled up Rise enough that she will add HP and SP after a battle, you should be ok.
Also, make sure you track down as many of the items as you can. Equip the acessories as soon as you get them, and when in doubt, remember you can always guard your use mele attacks

Its not hard, just tedious because SP is halved after each battle. the 1st, 4th, and 7th floors have encounters in doors, but just avoid as many as you can and then exit dungeon, restock SP and fight the boss

I did it for the first time a few days ago and it's not that bad. If you're high enough level you can just skip all the battles that you can (save for those that are mandatory). Be sure to have HP skills and open all the chests that you can. Then you can return and heal (you get many items to be able to return, similar to Goho-M and also items to restore your SP). Be sure to have a lot of money for the heals.
