Restart Game or Continue?

Hello!

I was 44 hours into the game where I hit a hard dungeon, gave up on it and stopped playing the game. It's now been a year and a bit later and I still haven't returned to it. I'm not sure if it's best to restart the game from scratch or continue without remembering most of what's happened except for knowing I made some mistakes.

I think you should restart the game. Play it on very easy if you want

keep going because u can "restart" or start over NG+, there's no "hard dungeon", u just fuse wrong persona for that dungeon, NG means do everything wrong on first playthrough. If u missed something like book or order tanaka amazing commodity just ignore them, u can get them again on NG+, i even can't maximize all my SL on my first playthrough.

If you are interested in unraveling the true ending you do require to do an NG+ run to begin with.

Isn't true ending when you defeat Izanagi You do not need NG+ Run for that

You can change your difficulty settings at any point in the game, so keep that in mind. There's even gamebreaking difficulty options like Retry during battles that instaheal your party upon defeat. Or less gamebreaking option, retry from the dungeon area.

The first option I'd only recommend to others that want to get through the story with no effort, because it kills the fun of fighting.

Couldn't you just turn the difficulty down?

Yea since you probably forgot a good bit of the story, I think restarting it might work well, turn the difficulty to the lowest until you get back to where you were at. Or at least make it so you get XP a lot easier.
