Died at first boss?! Then had to reload?!

Hey, I just got to the first "boss" in this game. Its the bad version of my friend with the red hair. I died in this fight(No idea what I made wrong but okay). After I died the game just went back to the menu and I had to reload from my last save.... That save was 2 hours ago because there was 2 hours talking and I couldnt save.....

WTF GAME
Now I have to play this 2 hours again. Does this always happen when u die?
No second chance? Start from your last save???? (BTW I play on normal)

yes when you die you have to reload the last save, that why in every Persona game is important to save your game every time you can.
You can press Start to activate the fast mode during conversations with a controller or press Z with keyboard.
Also Tab to skip scenes.

But when I choosed that I want to play the game on Normal. It said under "Easy" that I can try the boss again. And when I die in normal I just have to play the dungeon again. Not from the last save... Also there is no chance for me to save because im still in the tutorial

Ah your in the tutorial, well on a normal dungeon you are gonna be able to save before getting into the dungeon so it is different compared to the tutorial in every way.
The tutorial is not hard you just have to find the weak point and defend yourself

The tutorial is not hard you just have to find the weak point and defend yourself

There is a setting called "Retry fight" when I turn that on. Does my game saves before every fight? So I dont need to play the full dungeon again? I hate playing things more then once :/

I'm pretty sure that saved only before a boss fight, not every fight.
When you are playing a normal dungeon you can go outside the dungeon with an item "Goho-M", outside you can save the game and do other stuff, and when you come back to the dungeon you can start from floor one or the floor you were on when you left.

No idea. Even on second try it was pretty hard. Had to use 2 medicine and still almost died. I used my special attack thats weak to him everytime and almost defend myself to his attack everytime (Like the game told me)

I've actually tested it out. Depending on how aggressive you are, especially if you lose track of the boss cycle, you can definitely be overwhelmed on Hard/VH mode.
