Persona 4 Golden

Persona 4 Golden

Anyone else think SPOILER should've stayed dead after Heaven instead of coming back to life for seemingly no reason
I personally believe that Nanako should not have came back to life and it would've made Adachi have genuine regret about playing his "game" later in his story in P4AU when he shows his slight soft side. Also having Nanako stay dead would've added another reason to hate the killer.

am I cruel for asking this or does anyone else agree with this idea?

But she DOES die........if you proved that your truth wasnt actually the truth and you stop persuing the real culprit.

Its supposed to be symbolism considering her arcana's name

Well, I think they decided not to make the game that dark. It's the most wholesome game the company has ever produced.

Fair point
Well, she does stay dead if you throw Namatame into the TV. I always saw it as a reward for not being deceived by lies and getting closer to the truth, given that's a major theme of this game. Ultimately her rescue only matters if you find out what actually happened, since the town gets swallowed by the fog if you fail that task.

A dark part of me agrees that doing that would have made things a bit more interesting but it's clear that wasn't the theme Atlus was trying to go for.
Let's just be glad Nanako wasn't in P3 cause then she would have REALLY stayed dead....
She does stay dead if you for the bad ending, and bad ending for Persona games are pretty dark.

I think that Teddie's S. Link should not have been tied to the story and the revival based on whether you maxed his link or not.

I like that she is saved... I'd like it more if it were earned, beyond avoiding the worst ending.

Teddie's character resolution is gotten from the story. It wouldn't make sense to be able to Max it and 'finish his character arc' before it does. I wanted to spend a little more time with Teddie too come end-game but his SL being plot-connected is fine.

Well, Atlus thought about making Dojima the culprit, but the idea was too dark for them.
