SP problem
Started Persona 4 recently and it is amazing, but i am at loss how to progress in dungeons. I can't farm efficiently cause SP runs out and that forces me to leave the dungeon for good, since the drop rate of SP recovery items is super rare. Is there a way to recover SP inside dungeons and farm for hours?

Recover HP/SP especially in the early game is very worth it as a shuffle card. If you're having trouble with some grinding, you could always stay on the lower levels of a dungeon when you can just auto attack enemies and then go up and down floors allowing chests to refresh and hope to get Soul items that way in order to replenish your SP.

I see that you got Sarasvati, and Invigorate 2 carried me through that entire dungeon and kept on fusing it onto other personas as I went through the game. As a passive, that is certainly a game changer.

There's also the Mage's Ring which you can buy relatively early on that gives I think 3SP at the start of your turn, which adds up. There are plenty of options but I think something I should get out there..

Use Items to Heal instead of using your precious SP.

There is later on yes but not in the first dungeon. Persona 4 isn't rly designed in a way that requires you to grind, as long as you don't run away from most fights and go back to older dungeons for requests and the mini bosses you'll already be overleveled enough. So you should just focus on progressing and not worry about level too much.

There are a lot of cheap items like food and drinks that restore SP, some persona skills help with SP management as well. Later on you'll also meet two companions that can restore your SP.

Thanks, i crafted Sarasvati after searching some info regarding my question and hope the problem goes away after i beat the bathhouse and progress further. Coz this is the only thing that i don't like about Persona 4 so far - limiting my time inside these dungeons, everything else is pretty amazing.

Grinding is almost never necessary in this game. Just set exp and money to more in difficulty settings.

Focus less on Exp grind and more on proper Persona fusion.

if you are finding that you are running out of SP, you could try using the regular physical attacks more often or during shuffle time, choose the card for replenishing SP/HP

If you can regularly get Shuffle Time, you can recover a fair bit of your SP every now and then by drawing Cups cards, and you should be able to get a fair amount of Soul Drops and what-not on the first floor or so just by opening the chests.

You get much easier ways to manage it later.
