Use a guide to get the best answers ( I personally used the one on site.google.com )
If you won't advance the link, do not spend time with the character, rather try spending time with other and trying to max their " social points " using different methods ( shrine/school exams/ events during the game/ spend time at night )
Start the social links as soon as you can, so you can remember to do them when checking your SLink list.
Accept the requests , and report them, of the hermit on rainy days as it's probably the only arcana available when it rains, so you won't miss time.
Choose football club as if I remember correctly it is easier to max out than basketball.
Use all your savefiles so you don't have to restart from scratch or 5 weeks ago.
I'd recommand to max all night SLinks asap to fully focus on the shrine or night events with people.
I personally managed to get all of my SLinks maxed out in the first week of january, so it's not really tight with the final date of the game, you can miss some day and be fine. but don't miss too many days
You have way more than enough time in NG+.
2) Try holding off on bonding with your school friends if they can't rank up. Sometimes all you need is just a few extra points with them which you can get for free from lunches and tests (granted you did good on them)
3) Always save the Hermit S-link for days when no one can rank up. The reason for this is because they are one of the only S-links that is available 24/7 and will always rank up so keep that in mind when your scheduling. Likewise, the Death S-link is only available on Sundays so you should hang out with her when possible.
4) Be mindful of what you say. Certain dialogue options offer more bonus points then others which can affect how fast you complete the S-Link. There is a guide online for what choices are the best for each event, but I highly recommend you do not follow that if it's your first playthrough.
5) Complete all the dungeons in a single day. While at first this might seem hard, believe me that it's more then possible the further you go. So save your TV exploring for when there is literally nothing else you can do. Also keep in mind that one of the very last dungeons needs to be completed on 11/22 or 11/23 (I forget which date) if you want to make the most of your time.
I highly suggest just reading a guide though instead of trying to figure out the most effective methods for yourself. It can be a bit overwhelming.
The dungeon you're thinking about is December's, you need to hold off until 12/22 if you want as much time as possible while still doing the Christmas dates.
-If you don't have a Tower Persona in the compendium (for Shu, the kid you tutor), know that the lowest level you can fuse one is at level 35
-Really really pay attention to the guides, you want to optimize your time with Naoto, and don't want to screw it up with Ai
