It's a music mod that replaces a lot of the music in the game with remixed versions from spin-off games.
Example of one of my favorite replacements:

Certainly not 'essential', but I really like it... especially after playing the PS2 version. Really goes one step further to make it feel like an 'enhanced' version.
Other than that I don't think there is anything 'essential' out there.
the Motion Blur thing doesn't happen to some. It can be removed though by using "Special K" and setting it up.
Outside of that, I don't see anything "essential". There are some mods that fix small texture errors and etc. But nothing really essential
Download the most recent Hotfix and you should be as good as you can
I suspect this is where some people are crashing. Don't know why it does it... hope its fixed... but its a minor issue.
I have around 115 hours in the game and not a single crash... beta branch or unpatched.
All you will ever need is listed there.
Also thank you all, I had seen that but I wanted opinions on various bits within it.
no. the author says beta branches are not supported.
We need to wait for the patches to become stable and then, maybe we are in luck.
Tough, with the latest hotfix, the video files are encoded with VC-1 and look a hella lot better.
It’s on gamebanana.
