I have never had any issues with denuvo. The games i have played with denuvo has run butter smooth. If there are issues playing the games they can still fix it to run great with denuvo and i think people who have worked their butts of deserve compensation for the games they made.

So buy the games you like. I dont give a ♥♥♥♥ how they word it but piracy is theft and i wont change my mind about that.

Wow, it's like you don't even read any of the posts. Obviously people should pay for the game if they like it. From what I've seen, a majority of the people who have been asking for Denuvo to be removed on this Forum actually already own the game. Of course there are also the people who don't own the game because they don't want to pay for a game with Denuvo in it.

Also, You say yourself that the reason they use DRM is because of piracy. But this game is already cracked. Pirates can play the game, and seemingly with a better experience than many of the paying customers. It's not just about your experience. I also have had no performance issues with this game, but that doesn't mean that's the case for all of the paying customers. Some of the paying customers also tried the cracked version and many of the problems they had disappeared in that version.

So why should they keep Denuvo in the game now that it's already cracked and pirates can play the game with a potentially better experience (depending on their PC) than the people who have paid for it? It is anti-consumer and is only hurting those who have already paid for the game, now that's it's already been cracked. From potential performance issues to not being able to play the game at all - these are the things that some paying customers get with this DRM in place.

denuvo does not degrade performance or cause any issues. it will stay.

You say that, but as another poster pointed out, that was OP using a Virtual Machine to run the game, which can cause steam to freak out as it registers a download everytime it's opened (Besides, normal people don't run Virtual Machines to play games)

It's possible that it isn't doing that in P4Gs case, but it absolutely does / has in certain cases. Unless you've managed to play both a Denuvo & non-Denuvo version of this game, or have a stronger understanding of how it works than most you have no idea what you're talking about and just arguing for the sake of arguing.

Whatever the case, it's literally pointless now. If absolutely nothing else, removing it would clear some hard drive space. Admittedly probably a trivial amount... but that's how useless it is at this point. It served it's purpose for two weeks and is no longer needed.

no such thing as a non-denuvo version of denuvo games unless devs removed it.

If I own a game, I'd like to be able to play it however tf i want, even in a virtual machine if I so choose. I don't care what normal people do. This is why I try to buy my games from GOG if they have what I want.

Point being, you don't know what you're talking about as far as it having any sort of effect on performance.

Do you have ANY first hand experience with Denuvo before and after? I do.

I CAN'T claim that it is having a negative performance impact on P4G. I don't know. I'm having some minor issues. I have no idea if they're Denuvo related or not. With Denuvo being utterly useless at this point, it would be nice to have it removed to see if there is any sort of performance or stability improvement.

They've been harassing people who speak against denuvo with their "not a ban" warnings, so I'd tread lightly around this topic.

Then go get the cracked version without the evil Denuvo and shut up

you'll not have achievements or the online features. But they're small in comparison to your BIG "pErFoRmAnCe PrObLeMs"

People who talk about cracks and such yeah. It's likely Atlus or Sega behind the warnings.

I highly doubt Denuvo will ever be removed from this game. Japanese devs are paranoid about piracy and it's quite a feat we got this from super conservative (business wise) Atlus are all.

I don't think being Japanese has anything to do with it because Sega has removed Denuvo in the past with some of their games. But in this regard Atlus may have more say so in the matter since it's their IP.

Ive been banned on a different forum just for embedding a benchmark performance comparison video.

Not a good look at all.

The worst part is, the majority of players supporting and wanting denuvo are the ones who controlling and voting harder with their wallets, and companies for some unknown reason, really want to put that thing in their games, thinking it will protect it. I don't think gaming industry will become any better from now on, since the market choice is based off of rich people, simplets and sheepies that supporting denuvo.

Btw, even on a cracked game, denuvo is still in, it is just not requires internet.
