Hah, well I think she has her own charm in her own way. An old friend of mine back in highschool years ago, told me that he firmly believes Chie is the only real girl in the game. I was hellbent about Yukiko, and that led to so many funny discussions about it. I can understand someone liking either as each character is designed in a specific way that may or may not appeal to someone's needs I guess.
Yeah, it's just a difference in preference, and I guess I can see the "real girl" argument. All down to what each person likes, as you said.
Honestly, probably Margaret, I don't know why, maybe is the blue.
As for the main cast... I'd say Naoto.
- Igor : Welcome to the Velvet Room, I am Ig-
- Danieke : IGOR!!!!! SMOOCH!!!
- Igor : What in the name of Arcana!
- Danieke : Shhh....no more talk, only dreams now.
- She can cook
- Her dance is sexy (Played P4DAN)
- Her Social link is interesting
- She is cute when blushes
- She has got the biggest.... patches of land
- She is the only girl which invites you to her room ("new kotatsu..its nice and warm")
- Her events are the best (Christmass Eve, VD) or almost the best (Getting lost with boys on ski trip is just epic and unbeatable)
- She can one-shot almost everything in dungeon
- Her 3rd form Persona looks awesome
- She saved an entire Christmass Party by forcing girls to use cooking book
I know that Kanji will suffer.... but sorry Kanji. You have got some many chances (umbrella event)
2nd place will be for Yukiko and 3rd for Rise.
As for me, while I see Yukiko is one of the best girl in Persona 4 Golden, since I have to choose one best girl, it is Rise
Reasons:
- Rise only see MC and no one else
- Rise can only be saved by MC
- Only MC can make Rise to be a better girl
- I cannot ignore her s.link lvl 8 scene, even in the second playthrough. She needs only MC and no one else
- It is so satisfying having someone loving you unconditionally despite the fame Rise has
- I get the vibe of "matching" in battle with MC being the leader and Rise being the navigator
- Her valentine event her dream was living in an island, with a big dog, while she cooks and stuff, it is a childish dream, but having worked so hard in my life, at this point I kinda agree with her dream and it is a paradise
Yukiko is still one of the best girl, but if going to pick one, Rise is still best for MC, because Yukiko still has Chie and her Inn. Rise practically has no one that truly understands her. Only MC understands Rise and someone has to watch over her.
Chie is just not my type (sorry Chie fans), moreover she is going along with Yosuke
I just don't get it why anyone pick Naoto as a romantic partner. Not because she is not attractive, but come on! She is Kanji's no doubt. Kanji is my man!
I went with Chie pretty early, I dig tomboys anyway and she is geeky, silly and fun. To be honest though, they are all pretty cool. Not that "he" is part of the Scooby gang yet, I think Naoto would be a second close choice. Most definitely the most feminine of the girls, without being stereotypical.
Rise is cool and all, but she's flirty and has the pick of anyone she wanted, Yukiko is clearly not as outgoing but is in a similar position. Marie I like, but eh, pass this time. And I know Ai is troubled and all, and eventually chills out, I honestly can't stand her, so no thanks.
People who like Yukiko though are a strange breed of people who need to die out or change there awful opinions.
