Aeon social-link not starting.

Im following a guide since i already played P4 in the past and it recommends that i start the social link with Marie on 04/18 and that i need to enter and leave the Velvet Room for it to start but no matter how many times i do this it never pops, i already entered and leaved 20 times in a row and nothing!
Any ideas on why its happening? A glitch? Should i restart the game?

Are you entering Velvet room from Shopping discrict door? I started Aeon S.Link succesfully on both playthroughs at that date

In the velvet room, have you tried the 'Check in Dwellers => Talk to Marie' ?

You need to do it first and then it will automatically start.

Ya need to get start relationship with exclusive characterーMarie to start Aeon-SL, which she can be meet in Velvet room, once ya got rank 1 from her you can find her at South Shopping District on Wed, Sat & Sun, she won't appear if it's rainy day, just like anyone else too

Im trying to enter it in the normal world at the entrance in the commercial center, i only entered the TV world when the plot demands so far.

Very strange, but i think you can try to do it another day - you are not going to do that social link right now anyway if you follow that guide, cause first Aeon persona is 18 lv

Ill try to trigger the social link a little more and see if it works, if not ill do something else. The guide is good but it is just a guide after all hehe hopefully its not a weird bug that will make it impossible for the SL to trigger at all right? I can only hope...

i remember having to enter the room twice in a row after talking to marie (via shopping district)
was kinda weird

She just pops up when she feels like it, hanging outside the VR door in the Shopping District.

Her appearances are rare and are based more on story status than anything else. I would not follow dates with her, just keep waiting to see when she pops up.

Well, it's true about her usual dates, but starting her S.Link was always possible on 04/18
