Currently your game purchase cannot be re-validated successfully, please wait 24 hours and try again.
i reinstalled the game on a new laptop because the game kept uninstalling itself whenever i downloaded it on my vm. i reinstall it and it gives me this error message. the same error message also popped up on my vm. ive had the game for about 2 days and havent been able to play it once. is there any way to solve this issue without waiting 24 hours?

From a quick search, people seem to be blame this issue on Denuvo. I can't verify if it actually is Denuvo, but you may as well refund the game for now until they remove it. Did you buy this game directly from steam btw?

Edit: How are you being shown this message? Does it open in a browser going to a codefusion page? If so, then it is Denuvo.

yeah i bought it from here, its a shame though since i was coming into the persona series for the first time. im assuming there is no way to play the game now because of this issue, so i hope that this gets fixed soon.

I just saw a picture of this message on a codefusion website so it is Denuvo. You can try purchasing it again after they remove Denuvo from the game. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer as the game is already cracked.

This really shows how Denuvo is trash and is more anti-consumer than it is anti-piracy. The pirates can enjoy this game without this happening to them.

I don't think that would actually help, but I'm not an expert on the inner workings of Denuvo, and you've got nothing to lose. It seems like the refund requirements are just that you purchased it within the past 14 days and you've played less than 2 hours. So you can request a second refund after buying it again if it still doesn't work.

Denuvo is the culprit.
You tired to install the game more than 5 times and now you have to wait for 24 hours before being able to reactivate it and play!

Yeah if you run it in a vm, Denuvo will think it's a new machine every time and burn through your reactivations quickly.
Running games in a vm is usually a really dumb idea for multiple reasons, DRM only being one of them.

It can trigger similar responses from Steam DRM and lock you out that way too, btw.

well uh, i refunded it and purchased again, worked for me but that's probably not the most conventional solution
