Why did Yosuke suddenly get kinda aggressive and mean after Kanji was introduced?

Ever since Kanji joined in the hijinks, Yosuke is just overall more "mean". Yosuke was kinda goofy desperate typical teenager, but after the Steamy Bathhouse he's kinda turned into a ♥♥♥♥.

Does he ever stop being a ♥♥♥♥ to Kanji, otherwise I'm kicking him off my team in favour of good boi Kanji

Edit: after his manipulation at the camp, and overall creepiness up to this point - I've concluded: He's a ♥♥♥♥

Edit: I don't get why you guys are calling me a troll. I'm just a newcomer to this franchise and just did a short rant of some dialogue choices that rubbed me the wrong way. I'm sorry that I offended you or seemed like I wanted to incite argument, but seriously, I don't intend for this at all.

Having played Persona 3 it's funny seeing people get upset over the things the P4 cast does to each other.

It's funny seeing people get upset about thing that happen to video game characters in general. It's not real, it's all part of a fictional story and that's how you should treat it. Otherwise, you should also get upset any time anybody dies in a video game. That's much worse than poking fun at somebody for acting weird. Do we get upset about that? Of course not, it's not real.

The only reason you should be upset over those things is if they make the game worse, for example if the writers decided to kill off the main character who was a very interesting protagonist that everybody liked, and replaced him with somebody that's completely unlikable and uninteresting. In the case of Kanji though, it only leads to comedic gags. Even if you don't like that kind of humour, that's only a very small bit of the game so you're not struggling much.

Yeah, me neither. It's almost as bad as forcing you to kill dogs in video games. Disgusting. Thankfully, nobody normal would do such a thing so there's nothing to worry about.

Yep. That and countless other scenes. The game makes it very obvious. That's the whole point behind half the gags involving Kanji. Yet, we still have plenty of people out there who failed to get the the memo...

Honestly I get those vibes from Chie more than Yosuke.
With Yosuke it's very obvious that he likes poking at peoples buttons and joking with them (even if it's not very funny).
But Chie literally charges Yosuke's credit card without his consent right after his motorcycle got obliterated by Hanako in order to pay for Teddie's clothes.
Then when Yosuke rightfully gets mad at her she just tells him that a little more debt won't hurt him.
Yosuke messes with Kanji a lot, but never to that extent.
I was with Yosuke on that one cause that was kinda a b*tch move on her part.

Wow that does sound like a ♥♥♥♥♥ move. I did feel very bad for Yosuke when Hanako stumbled outta nowhere and crushed his sweet scooter. It was hilarious, but I still felt bad

Remember the anime also chose Yu flirting with Yosuke as canon in the date cafe.
Yu ♥♥♥♥♥ with everyone.

The anime was basically if the player chose every goofy / troll option available.

That's the Golden Animation. I watched it thinking I'd never get a chance to play the Golden version of the game. Literally days after finishing it the Steam version got announced.

I wonder if the whole Naoto thinks everyone is trying to kill her plotline is part of the Golden edition, as it wasn't in the PS2 version. It was freakin' hilarious on the show!

Yeah... no, Yosuke just likes to push other people's buttons for laughs, and he knows when to reel it back in. Chie is the mean one, though, and Yosuke typically ends up on the butt end of her "reactions," one of the reasons she's my least-favorite teammate in the entire series (not even Rise's unquenchable thirst for the MC can make her take that spot from Chie).

Yu gets King Moron so angry he makes to strike him, then Yu grabs his hand, shakes it and says 'nice to meet you'. Also says the same when he first meets Teddie while everyone else is freaking out.

If you watch it out of context not realizing any of that it is pretty bad.

I agree. If you watched the Golden Animation thinking that it's going to be very well done like the original and turns out that it's not you would think that it's bad.

Also one funny thing that they did during the Golden Animation was during the Junes concert where they had Kou dress up like Rise to help the mob of fans away from outside of Rise's house. Also another thing is that the Golden Animation was also focused around Marie as well.

To be honest, that kinda made me put Yosuke into the trash tier as well lol

No matter how fun the scenes were, Kanji doesn't deserve that ♥♥♥♥ attitude. It's his first proper friendship and he's trying his best.
