Why did Yosuke suddenly get kinda aggressive and mean after Kanji was introduced?

Ever since Kanji joined in the hijinks, Yosuke is just overall more "mean". Yosuke was kinda goofy desperate typical teenager, but after the Steamy Bathhouse he's kinda turned into a ♥♥♥♥.

Does he ever stop being a ♥♥♥♥ to Kanji, otherwise I'm kicking him off my team in favour of good boi Kanji

Edit: after his manipulation at the camp, and overall creepiness up to this point - I've concluded: He's a ♥♥♥♥

Edit: I don't get why you guys are calling me a troll. I'm just a newcomer to this franchise and just did a short rant of some dialogue choices that rubbed me the wrong way. I'm sorry that I offended you or seemed like I wanted to incite argument, but seriously, I don't intend for this at all.

In the game you have the option of playing along with Yosuke, and the Anime chooses that as the protagonists choice.

Kanji deserves it. A bit at least. Things relax more over time.

Well. After WHAT they have seen in the dungeon, it isnt strange that they might be a little suspicious about Kanji's preferences.

It's called humour OP. That's why the writers did it, because it leads to Kanji acting over the top and doing dumb things, which results in funny gags. A common trope in comedy. It's not a real story, so relax.

I mean certain moments are funny I admit, it just kinda knocked me outta my immersion for the briefest of moments.

- You have never seen him dating a girl
- On the other side you have seen him hanging out with a boy and hearing that Kanji is thinking that a boy might be interested in him.

- He might want to have some revenge for a pinguin cracker

I alwas thought that he didnt like girls because they laughed at his sewing hobby behind his back or something like that.

Honestly I get those vibes from Chie more than Yosuke.
With Yosuke it's very obvious that he likes poking at peoples buttons and joking with them (even if it's not very funny).
But Chie literally charges Yosuke's credit card without his consent right after his motorcycle got obliterated by Hanako in order to pay for Teddie's clothes.
Then when Yosuke rightfully gets mad at her she just tells him that a little more debt won't hurt him.
Yosuke messes with Kanji a lot, but never to that extent.
I was with Yosuke on that one cause that was kinda a b*tch move on her part.
