Skip to 20 seconds in and listen to Chie say "Man where the heck are we?"

Tell me that's the same VA. I'll then proceed to tell you you're deaf. I'm NOT talking about the "spin-off games". The Chie VA that replaced the old in Golden continues the voice in spin-offs.

Further proof.
IMDB for Persona 4.

Note that Tracey Rooney voices Chie in the English cast.

IMDB for Persona 4 Golden.

Note that Erin Fitzgerald voices Chie in the English cast.

Are you deaf or are you a troll? I'd generally not be rude over this but if you're going to be aggressive and rude over something you have no clue about...

EDIT: NSFW swearing from the guy who created the video.

This specific comparison really highlights why I prefer the original Chie over the new one.

Oh yeah, forgot you are dumber than your shadow.

a port is a copy of a game on another medium/console.
ffs means for ♥♥♥♥'s sake.
no voice were changed from PS2 to Vita to PC. it's a copy of the game. you're comparing ten different games and try to pass it off as one. Any new conversation from P4 to P4 Golden was NOT voiced, period. That's also why some sentence don't match what's written in the speech bubbles. that goes for every character.

YES THEY WERE DIFFERENT VA FROM P4 TO BLAZBLUE. but Blazblue is NOT P4. Arena is a spinoff, and it's not this game. the dancing game is a dancing game/rythm game, not this game. of course they often change VA when changing game. Just look at Sonic's voice... from the cartoons to the game, he barely ever had the same voice. and now the movie has a new VA for him! how amazing is that! if you say it's irrelevant, then your argument is also irrelevant, because I just said the same thing.
Btw persona 4 Arena is NOT the same game at all.

Notice the obvious lack of a second japanese VA for those two character.
They never changed Persona 4 VA for Persona 4 golden. Booklet state the same names in both case. I don't play arena, blazblue, dancing or any other spinoff so I never paid attention to those.

Also here's a trivia, persona 4 is not related to shin megami tensei. only USA use that title for some persona game even though they should not. so those youtube video used the wrong title lol.

Edit: Persona 4 was out before the blazeblue crossover and the other spin off.so it's not Chie's new voice, it's Chie ORIGINAL voice.
Edit 2: I still prefer japanese voice even though I barely understand a word they're saying.
Hard to think you're not trolling considering you don't seem to want to dedicate a minute or two of your time to compare Chie's voice for Persona 4 on the PS2 and Persona 4 Golden on the Vita/PC.

New? What are you guys talking about? Chie's voice actor has been the same since the VITA version of P4G.
For a lot of us this is our first experience with the Gold version after playing the PS2 version.

It's not like the Vita was particularly popular and it remains un-emulated.
There is a Vita emulator in the works and I have seen P4G running with it and I can say this that it is not ready for prime time any time soon.

You have no idea what the hell you are talking about. OF COURSE Atlus changed VA for Chie for P4G since the Original actor from the PS2 version retired.
Erin Fitzgerald actually tries to be in character. Tracey Rooney had absolutely no personality

I'll never forget of

"aha! Is this our chance?"

in P4 Vanilla...

I also never forget the no emotion shows in very emotional scenes like saving Yukiko for example.
Nah. That's how I feel about her original voice, but to each their own.
Chie: That's just YOUR opinion!
Trolls and real idiots aside, I agree that to each their own. and I don't think either are really great, but too much emotion (if you call yelling each line emotion) is as bad as too little in my opinion...
I mean....shes not a very good character to begin with so I don't think it really matters.
But that's just me.
When I watched the comparison, to be honest, I like the Erin Fitzgerald more. But anyway I don't care at all about English dub because all is inferior when compared to Japanese dub (Especially Yukiko, Yosuke, Naoto, Rise, Kanji, nah I think everyone) The intonation is just so different being Yukiko, Yosuke, and Naoto having the biggest difference (Yukiko when saying oblivious things, Yosuke when he is replying to Kanji or any comments, Naoto basically every dialogue)
Lol no. Vanilla chie sounded like a 45 year old.

dubs generally sucks, I don't know why are you even arguing which inferior version is worse while both are inferior.

This is true. Hearing japanese honorifics in english makes me want to die. :deadweight:
She actually sounds like a teenager rather than a smoker?
