Personally I feel that her new VA has more passion and emotion then her old one which fits Chie's character more. But that's just me.
Everybody can redeem themselves, look at this man (woman ?) ! Your sins will be pardonned.
It's not like the Vita was particularly popular and it remains un-emulated.
If I had the time I would have checked the Japanese voice acting, but my suspicion is that the new Chie is closer to the original... It doesn't mean it is better (see FFXIII)
I only played og P4. does that make my comment invalid or something?
if you watched the anime, then it's all in your head and totaly your fault.

Teddie's voice actor also changed.

In Teddie's case, I find the voices to be EXTREMELY close and it would be easy to not notice the difference.
Chie, on the other hand... I have NO idea how you could play Persona 4, then Golden and NOT notice the difference... even years apart.
Was this a joke I missed or did you actually think P4 Chie & Golden Chie had the same voice...?
a port is a copy of a game on another medium/console.
ffs means for ♥♥♥♥'s sake.
no voice were changed from PS2 to Vita to PC. it's a copy of the game. you're comparing ten different games and try to pass it off as one. Any new conversation from P4 to P4 Golden was NOT voiced, period. That's also why some sentence don't match what's written in the speech bubbles. that goes for every character.
YES THEY WERE DIFFERENT VA FROM P4 TO BLAZBLUE. but Blazblue is NOT P4. Arena is a spinoff, and it's not this game. the dancing game is a dancing game/rythm game, not this game. of course they often change VA when changing game. Just look at Sonic's voice... from the cartoons to the game, he barely ever had the same voice. and now the movie has a new VA for him! how amazing is that! if you say it's irrelevant, then your argument is also irrelevant, because I just said the same thing.
Btw persona 4 Arena is NOT the same game at all.
Notice the obvious lack of a second japanese VA for those two character.
They never changed Persona 4 VA for Persona 4 golden. Booklet state the same names in both case. I don't play arena, blazblue, dancing or any other spinoff so I never paid attention to those.
Also here's a trivia, persona 4 is not related to shin megami tensei. only USA use that title for some persona game even though they should not. so those youtube video used the wrong title lol.
Edit: Persona 4 was out before the blazeblue crossover and the other spin off.so it's not Chie's new voice, it's Chie ORIGINAL voice.
Edit 2: I still prefer japanese voice even though I barely understand a word they're saying.
