Two students in Junes on December (da ri to) - what does it mean?
From time to time, on December in Junes are two male students, mumbling to themselves. One say "..... da...", the other " ... ri... to..." Does it mean anything?

I think it could just be random mumbling's but who knows?
Maybe they are saying "Dorito" in broken english?

There's also some in town at that point in the game due to nonstop infinite weather madness , altogether the syllables seem to be the following:

Ah Da Ri Eh To Oh Da

Each of those corresponds to a Japanese character, naturally.

I tried to see if they'd all "fit together", like if each char was in a different place in the ellipses, but that doesn't seem to be the case -- "Da" and "Ri" were in the same place.

Best guess is that the JP lines were just directly transliterated, and that it really is mumbling. If they really could make a cogent Japanese Easter Egg anagram of a sentence, that's beyond my powers to divine.

If I had to guess, it's whimpering from fear due to the endless fog during that part of the game.

It's not a reference to Doritos since the translators overall do a decent job of keeping Japanese terms around.
