Fix for random in-game crash

I was experiencing random crashes despite running the game on a very good setup. Maybe some of you are also. The fix for me was simply to run the application in windowed mode. Never had a crash since. Without having to change any other setting, the foggy effect disappeared while playing in this mode. Maybe it's something related to that fx, but I do not know the details. Hope it helps.

I had a tons of crashes, I even can't finish the day 2
In windowed mode it seems stable, but it's a shame to play in windowed :/

i found disconnecting from the internet thingy helped a lot but not forever. Now, Im freakin stuck not being able to launch the game itself lol

The game does not stop crashing for me, usually in load screens and about half the times i try to run it.

Moving it to an SSD, killing the internet thing and blocking the game in the firewall seems to have cut them in half but its still crashing.

And when one happens halfway through a dungeon, oh man. Did they even Q&A this ?

I still believe that for me what caused the crash was loading that foggy effect across on-screen transitions.
In fact windowed mode turns that effect off on my setup (for some reason) and prevents the crash.
Sorry to hear this 'fix' doesn't apply to your case.
