should I play dubbed or subbed?

I'm cool with subs just wondering if the english dub is any good or even preferable.

Ive played this game a number of times with the english voices and i think they really nailed it and i can absolutely recommend it. Im not entirely sure about how good the japanese dub is though, the only thing i know is that i hate how teddie sounds in the japanese version personally.

The english dub falls in quality during some of the additional scenes added by Golden, notably the "beach episode". There's this particular scene where Kanji and Yosuke are having a conversation, and it just sounds like 2 guys reading from a script.

But overall both sub and dub are great. There are plus and minus to both sides, depending on your taste.

I usually play jp dubs but here i actually prefer eng dub. They did really good job.

I made a post similar and played the first run on jp and the second on eng

Inside dungeons use Eng(Igor voice is incredible in eng but Rise and Teddie are the most annoying thing as navigators in jp it is like someone is scratching your brain with a glass shard) outside use Jp(Dojima, Nanako are awesome in jp)

I honestly love both's voices either in dub or sub.

Nanako sounds as adorable in both version, while Dojima gives off big daddy vibes in dub but you can really feel his personality in sub.

Nanako sounds forced to me and Dojima sound like a young adult to me not a though cop on the other hand i think that yosuke(great in eng with my favorite VA the almighty Gig) and Adachi that sounds like backstabber on both versions

Dub is really good, so unless you can understand Japanese or really like how it sounds I would say there is no point.

well to each their own,.i think P4's original dub is good all across the board.

Both versions have stellar acting, though the Japanese voice track has noticeable compression artifacts.

Dub because you can listen to Sasuke
