The only significant RNG on your stats is Aiya's Mega Beef Bowl Challenge, which is admittedly really save scummy and annoying. Other than that you will run into it a few times early in the game to get the +2 Knowledge modifier from studying rather than the +1, which Persona 3 also had.
Other than that, I'm not sure what you are getting at. The affection points you get are fixed and never change. The Social Link guides out there are in fact 100% possible and you can max out all Social Links in one play through with overall little save scumming required.
You just have to pay attention and make sure you have the necessary Persona(s) on you at all times. That is where people mess up 99% of the time. It's always best to look ahead and make sure you have the correct Persona a few days in advance because there are a handful of points in the game where you can't readily get to the Velvet Room to get your necessary Persona.
You are doing something wrong then because that's just not true.
1. stat distributed during Mega Bowl challenge.
2. chances for stat bonus during studying
3. chances for doing better when you push yourself during part time jobs, which increases as you level your corresponding stats i.e. Expression for Translation.
The rest aren't RNG, especially affection points which afaik are quite static. idk what you're talking about.
That's only once you modify stat gains with books. The point is, it's one of the only RNG based modifiers in the game.
I don't know what to tell you. It's not the case at all. Affection points are always static. Period.
That is the dumbest excuse I have ever seen for not having any arguments and refusing to accept you're wrong...
