Overwhelmed?
I've reached the point of the game where you have a fair amount of freedom. You can join various clubs, take on side quests, strengthen your social links ect.

It's almost overwhelming and I know it is possible to get a "Game Over".

Should I just cool my jets, do what I can & then head into the TV? :) I mean, the "meat" of the game is trying to solve the mystery, right?

Advancing Social Links should be a priority during school days.

Rainy days, on the other hand offer limited if any chance for link advancement. Rainy days offer other bonuses though. Studying will be improved on a rainy day, and unique enemies appear in the TV world. Rainy days are great for heading into the TV.

imo, your #1 priority should be maxing out social links so that you could see the characters backstory and gain exp bonus during fusion, and focus on increasing your courage, understanding, and expression cuz those three are prob the most important stats and are required to unlock the most links (correct me if im wrong).

there aint that many things you can do during rainy days, so use em to either study, go to the tv world or lvl up the hermit arcana, you'll know what im talking bout once you see it.

There is a reason there are 3 rainy days before the game over. Keep an eye out for the weather.
Later dungeons require preparation before the dungeon over several days! So unlock this and then make an extra save. If you feel you can't do it before running out of days then start going to the TV world earlier.
Every rescue should be doable in 1 day and honestly the first full length one is the hardest because of SP management.

Just try your best, my main advice would be to try and max your stats (Courage, expression etc.) and do as much S.L. as you can, just do whatever in your first playthrough and keep those things in mind, cause it'll make a second playthrough much more easy, especially if you want to do an all S.L max run, with a guide obviously.

Don't be afraid of guides for quests and whatnot either, they can be annoying and a couple can be time sensitive.

On saving people, some people like to wait until the very last day to do it, and others try to do it in one go. Again be yourself right now.

Tho' some people won't want to do a new playthrough, lot of word skips tbh, even with the fast forward it takes a long time tbh, wonder if its possible to raise that speed.

I agree. It's really hard to max out everything on your first playthrough without a guide. Try and save this for NG+ instead.

Slow down, take a deep breath, and play how you want to. All the "game over" endings are related to story-heavy, investigation-reletive things,so the game will warn you about what you need to do. Pay attention to the weather, and you'll be fine for most of the game.
If you're really worried, keep a couple of save slot increments, so if you really mess up you can go back a week before and try again. You can even use this to see some bad endings for the heck of it!
If you're really determined to see all the game has to offer, jus prioritize Marie's social link and consider finding a guide for December.

This. If you get a bad ending, you should have a save right before it occurs and it should be easy to solve it.

Just make sure to rotate your saves. You have 16 slots... make use of em.

All very good advice.

I am loosely following a "Let's Play" although I don't watch it unless, I'm really at a loss. Most important thing is to have fun. :lunar2019grinningpig:

Your focus is the dungeons that once one happen you have around 15 days to complete normally they end right after 2 or 3 days of rain normally the optional time to do the dungeons is during the rains since you can't do most of the social links on rainy days and some special shadows show up

Clubs and whatever are social links(all of them have an exclamation point) they increase the power of your summoned personas and when they reach 10 you can summon a "ultimate" persona
Social skills dictates some answers and advancement on many Social links

If you are doing a madman run you can max both but if you want don't want to go crazy focus on maxing your social skills + get what you can on Social links and on a second run focus on social links

Yeah. Some of the social links are really well hidden. and require a few days of "wasting time" to unlock.
One of them requires maxed out Understanding.

Do the TV first and foremost. If the dungeon's active, most of your team's Social Links, most critically Marie's (Aeon) are disabled because "you're busy"
