Dont know what to do after beating the game

Ill admit i rushed the game sorta but after getting about half way through a realised how amazing the game was a slowed down a little now i have the problem of feeling completely empty after beating the game any recommendations on what to play or just to replay the game a bit more slowly

WOW! You beat it in 43 hours!? I beat the PS2 version (which has a lot less content & scenes) not long ago and it took me 90 hours!

it really doesn't take that long if you're playing on easy and not grinding dungeons

NG+, try different endings, complete the fusion book, go for any social links you didn't max out the last time since you'll have more free time since your stats carry over

1) Max difficulty with everything turned off or set to minimal
2) NG+ content
3) Max Out Social Links all in one single NG/NG+
4) Max Out Stats+Social Links+Complete Compendium on Max difficulty on NG with 1 arm stuck between your buttcheeks

well, i haven't watched it myself, but given it focuses only on golden exclusive content, it's not really the same experience as the regular version

Depends what you're after, though if you'd like something with a darker tone and more gameplay depth I would highly suggest jumping into a mainline SMT game, they usually have way more replayability with entire alignment routes that have their own unique bosses and endings instead of just "hey the story ends early".

And for story purposes, it's often a clash of ideals, law and chaos (neutral players are a meme)... Neither side is inherently right or good, there's not always just a "defeat the big evil adult who's bad because he's an adult".

For all its issues, SMT IV and the follow up Apocalypse are excellent starting points for newcomers. Then maybe jump into SMT 3: Nocturne (you get to play with Dante from DMC in this one), and then maybe jump in to some of the excellent spinoffs like Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2.

And if all that hasn't scratched the itch, there's a bunch more spinoffs out there including an MMO, Shin Megami Tensei Imagine... Though that one had its servers shut down, so you'd need to install a fan patch/jump into the fan servers.

if you want more challenge,try NG+ very hard,defeat reaper,clear marie's dungeon,defeat margareth and maybe 100% playthrough

if you want to play another game with same genre definitely P5R

Go check out other games in the series, or even hop into mainline SMT if you want, IV is a great starting point.
