Daidara´s metalwork

Hello, I know Daidara is supposed to sell new weapons and also you can grind materials to create new weapons. I am at Rise´s dungeon rn and that jerk still doesn´t offer anything besides the starting gear. Am I doing something wrong here ? Bug ?

You need to sell materials to him. Then you can buy it.

Thank you, I have just figured it out by accident. I had tons of materials but no list of items to buy.

He actually tells you if you find material to give them to him. But glad you founded out

Daidara's should be the size of Junes with the amount of yen I've given that guy

Just a warning sometimes the materials you sell will be used for sidequest by villagers/classmates request... but generally speaking- sell all materials to him to unlock new armor,weapons and accesories.

None of the materials that are sold with the "Sell all materials" option are used for side quests. You have to manually sell quest materials separately, and if you do that's on you.

edit: To be clear, Sell all materials sells everything marked with a specific icon. A broken gem icon, which is used for Daidara's crafting. All quest items are the weight icons, and will not be sold with this option.

That isn't what quest 27 is... What quests are you doing? Quest 27 is acquire a charmed veil.

Sry, in Golden it's quest 40, but still. And it's not the only one. There are several quests like that, that require things that are counted as materials, not quest items. Quest 63 is the same - it needs Golden chains.

P.S. Quest 43 is also the same - requires Proof of Passion - and it's not a quest item. Basically all quests that require you to bring more than 1 item are like these

Ok, I suppose that I haven't gotten those quests yet. My mistake. Just had to go back in and verify that fashionable dish was something that I actually had as well. Not sure why they had to do something like that as well as I had 47 lumps of coal for the old man, but he only wanted one.

Honestly, I hated these quests, cause in case of quest items - Shadows always drop one and you need 1 item, but in case of materials - they often drop nothing....
