Make a backup of your ROOT.xwb (japanese) or ROOT_E.xwb (english) file!

Pick your preferred language; and if you want to mute only Teddie, or both of them
Then simply drop the the ROOT or ROOT_E file in here: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Persona 4 Golden\SND

Not using this, but it seems likely, unless this author did things veeery differently, it just plays silence instead of the dialogue, but game still believes someone is talking, so volume drops.

I used a 0,0001 sec file, but it still fades out for a second
I actually found a solution in the exe file, to turn off the fading completely, by normalizing the music volume
but sadly it kills all the fading out at the end of the songs too, so they end abruptly, not very ideal

Damn it. I've been hoping for a mod that will turn off the fading entirely. Music doesn't fade like this in the PS2 version, I've never liked how it does it in the Vita (and now PC) version.

If you turn off the voices in the main menu, it stops the music from fading down when dialog is on screen. I wonder if there's some way to trick the game into thinking the voices are turned off when they're really still on?

I messed around for a while but to no avail
But I'm using a global normalizer on Windows so it's not really an issue for me personally

First time I played, I didn't mind much, but I have to admit that <no spoilers> that time when he gets knocked out and everyone goes "Teddie's out, how can we fight now?!", my like for him dropped a lot, because, well, I can see it's one enemy, do not worry, it's FINE.
But soon after I came to like him after he, well, yeah, you know.

He's annoying enough in ENG, but my main motivator was ♥♥♥ Teddie
(Even though I love Usopp from One Piece, his voice is just proper torture with this weird, cutesy, screeching acting)
