I've patched mine and it still a little shakey/crashey at times. Usually once the game loads up and runs for more than 5 mins it's going to keep running though.
They desperately need to release a 64-bit exe, but this is Atlus + Sega we're talking about here so maybe it comes out tonight, maybe never...
@Xenres
Good for you. This game crashes for LOTS of people because it's a 32-bit exe and the game runs out of memory. Nothing wrong with their PC's.

I played for 10 hours straight when I started my playthrough and it didn't crash a single time. I even alt-tabbed like 100 times and it didn't crash there either, and it hasn't crashed since. Not saying the crash doesn't exist, I just think there's something else going on.
It's worth a shot, at least.
It just happened again now and I'm at my wits end and I don't even know what to do. If you're wondering, my specs are nowhere near bad for this game and I can paste them if anyone is even interested
gonna try the patch and see if I can get a little further, if not I'll just refund since I'm under 2 hours.
Would a shame if I have to tho
You could try to edit the ini file by hand and change the vsync to 1. Maybe that would allow you to get into the game without it crashing. Its located at
%localappdata%\Sega\P4G\P4G.INI
There might be some other video setting you could modify in there that would stop it from crashing if its some kind of setting malfunctioning in your video card driver or invalid default video resolution that is not working for you. I'm not sure what the nature of your issue is exactly, so no telling.
You could also just delete the INI file and the game will remake it the next time you start it.
I did the other patch and only got to the intro gass station, so helped a tiny bit I guess...
just kinda getting sick of going through it, only to find I crash and haven't had a chance to atleast save :(
