Game's True Ending

I'm currently at 10/29 and Adachi is only at level 5. Can I still achieve the True Ending?

You have one last chance to see him at 1 NOV. If you can't make him to 6 at that day, then you will not be able to max him.
Also his S-link is nothing to do with true end (you will still get letter from him).

Is maxing him really that worth it? I heard a lot of people talk about how important it is to max him out.

You need a max social link with him to be able fuse Magatsu Izanagi. One of the most powerful Personas.

This happened to me. I met with Adachi for the rank up to 6, but a few days later I had reload to a previous save several times and didn't meet with him. I didn't realize this until Decemeber. Now I'm stuck at 12/22 because I don't want to go forward without it, but going back to my last save in October means losing a massive amount of grind work, I think something like 30 hours separates my mid-October save from my December 22, and I'm pretty depressed about it.

How long do you have to hold off on Adachi to get to that point? He's at level 5 for me on June 27th.

Just go out with him whenever you get the chance, is what I would say. Better safe than sorry. I'm on the 3rd stage of grief rn but hopefully things will be better in my 2nd run.

As far as I know you don't need to max him out for the true ending. The true ending gets locked in if you choose the right dialogue choices in December.
