Misheard Lyrics
When I first played P4G in 2012, my boyfriend and I both misheard the same lyrics in Reach Out To The Truth, such that the chorus includes the phrases "For the ♥♥♥♥-man to now break away" and "Oh the lesbians, will you let me out," and the people I live with have misheard the same thing to the point where they just sing made-up lyrics about lesbians to the Reach Out To The Truth melody.

With this game having so many English-language songs, I'm sure that y'all have misheard a lot of it as well. What are your favs? Let's help each other ruin this game's soundtrack.

The Japlish is real.

This isn't a new thing. These are the original songs from the Japanese version, and these are the Japanese VAs trying to sing English. They generally don't do a good job unless they've been expertly coached, and that doesn't usually happen in a video game or anime. There are exceptions but those are usually rare, and to be celebrated.

It is sometimes hard to understand everything. Although it isnt bad as in Persona 3, which has become famous of Burn my Bread.
I'm not saying they don't try, but it's a difference in linguistics between Japanese and English that is hard to learn without immersion in the opposite culture for a while to learn a new accent. Without that, you literally have grown up unable to hear the sounds that you need to hear in order to learn to make the sounds to sound correct in the other language.

There are many other examples of linguistic barriers between two languages, not just between English and some other language, but between just two different ones. Some languages have sounds others do not, and people aren't used to hearing them if their language doesn't use them, or uses them differently.
we got a problem, ♥♥♥♥ it

Reminds me there was an article when Joker got added to Super Smash Bros where on the track "Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There", there is a segment where the singer is quietly talking to herself, and given its nature isnt included on lyric breakdowns of the track, and the writer of an article swore they heard the big R slur to the mentally challenged, and published the article before Atlus or Nintendo comment, which both basically said "lol, no".

Line is commonly assumed to be "Retort it".

Also for having the greatest sing-along battle theme ever, because it's very hard to forget "OOH YEAH DA DA DA DA, DA DA DA DA, BABY BABY, DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA"

A journalist got into ♥♥♥♥ for mishearing lyrics in a P5 stage in Super Smash and rightfully so.
