Not able to meet minimum system requirements
I've got that classic problem of not being able to run this on my old laptop. I checked the specs and it doesn't seem like I'm missing much though

My system is:
Windows 7
8GB RAM
Intel Core i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20 GHz
DirectX 11.0
GeForceGT 520M
1024MB Dedicated Video Memory

So outside of Windows 7 (which shouldn't be a problem because DX11) I can't see why this isn't working for me. Any ideas?

Your GPU is terrible, the minimum listed GPU is over 3 times more powerful.

GT 520m lol

GPU is an office GPU from several years ago. it only has 48 shader cores and was released in 2010 as an entry level laptop chip ( office). And even then 10 years ago it was the very lowest mobile GPU on the totem pole. The game would not be playable on it. No current game would. for comparison something like a GTX 1060 has 1,280 shader cores and a GTX 1080ti has 3,328 shader cores. Time to upgrade....

Strange it can manage Civ 6 fine enough but oh well, many thanks

I'm honestly surprised that your video card can't at least launch the game. Are you sure that you have selected the high performance processor as the default GPU for the game?

If the game tries to use the GPU built into your CPU instead of the NVidia GPU (because it wants to save power) then that probably does not support DirectX 11 shaders in hardware, but from what I can see online the 520M does actually support DirectX 11 in hardware so it seems like it might at least be able to try to run the game.

You can run it if you're willing to lower settings and don't ♥♥♥♥♥ like a typical PC gamer about 120 fps.

Why is it so hard to buy like a used 50$ GTX 750 Ti, or better off, to get more performance/value try to find a used RX 570 for 70-80$, that thing is basically PS4 pro.

How can anyone still sit on some GT520 and actually buy games from steam? I mean, what can you even play on that? I doubt even Factorio runs well on that ancient rock

Well because he's using a laptop. There's no PCI Express slot. He's stuck with the hardware that is inside the laptop. I'm sure he didn't purchase this laptop to play Persona, but if he already has it for other purposes then I don't see why he shouldn't try to get it to work since that'd be a lot cheaper than buying a new computer.

You should be able to run the game as both of your GPU support DX11.
However, you should set the resolution at 1280x720, turn off vsync, set rendering scale to 75.

You also should get the lower bitrate cutscene mods on the forum because they will lag without that mod.

Krupp, I suspect you could run it on that if you download one of the low quality movie packs to deal with the cutscene stuttering.

Ah thanks you very much.

Another thing tho, i keep running into this problem, my game keep crashing at the opening movie, but if i reset the game enough i can get pass it, then the game crash at the velvet room introduction but sometime if i'm lucky i can get into the main game and the fps is silky smooth, until it crash again at the next movie cutscene, tbh it's infuriating. Oh and of course the anime cutscenes stutter like crazy without saying.

Those two places are the first two movies in the game. That's why I suggested you download a low quality movie pack.

VERSIONS OF THE LOW QUALITY MOVIE PACKS
---------------------------------------
All the video packs are compressed in 7-Zip archive format which can be extracted
with the 7-Zip File Manager, which is free and open source. It can be downloaded
from https://www.7-zip.org/. I believe WinRar and some other archivers can also
handle extraction of .7z files.

Here are the links for the downloads of the three movie packs including the CPU
speeds that I believe are likely to work well with them.

2.5 GHz or greater - LowQ (20 fps)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1b50uwJEZywvcWBWAGw--0xpy-QzeRTQc/view?usp=sharing

2.0 - 2.5 GHz - UltraLowQ (15 fps)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NHk0HKonWoskV7e3yJlf5XvTuY1dtBV_/view?usp=sharing

Cpu Less than 2 GHz - PotatoQ (8 fps)
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1urUqgAQ9Ed_X5vv8iFZOxIzdv-oyNZZ6/view?usp=sharing

Most machines 3.5 GHz or higher should have no problem with the regular videos that
were included with the game.

That really sounds to me like you might not have copied the movies properly. I'm not sure what the game will do if you don't have the movies in the game folder. It might do that. Make sure you have copied the movies from the LowQ folder into the main persona folder where the originals were.

If you are still having that issue I would suggest first verifying the integrity of the game files (right click game in Library, select Properties->Local Files->Check Integrity of Game Files) to redownload the originals then trying again to install the movie pack accodring to the instructions in the README.TXT file in the LowQ Videos folder.
