Best personas and equipment in the game

im in the month of August and level 48 so i think im half way through the story if its anything like P5R so i was wondering what are the best persona's that i can use mid-late game? i currently have Black frost as my main with other personas to cover the other elements is this good?
Also how do i get the best armor and weapons?

You get the best armor and weapons at Daidara's by selling him all the scrap from dungeons and unlocking new items. This works till the end of the game.
As for the personas, the best ones become available at levels 60+. My personal favourites for this period are Thor, Loki and Mechilzedek. Now you can use Black Frost and Decarabia.

I heard the reaper drops the best weapons and equipment in the game tho, still dunno about personas but someone told me the best one is Yushtsune

Yoshi tsune and Hel were the best for me at end game.

I am not that far myself but I keep hearing Black frost is one of the Personas that can be used for the entire game after you unlock it. Something similar to Shiki- Oji at persona 5.

Personas go for Trumpeter, Yoshitsune, Alice and Daisoujou, those just break the game.
As for weapons, the Reaper ones are the best, except in Yosuke and Yukiko, which they would be the Kitchen Knife and Hototogisu.

Nah, not worth. He has OP stats, but can't inherit skills so you have to grind them out via cards and can only fuse it at literally the end of the game.

Ah so he's basically just like satanael right? can't use it till NG+? that kinda sucks but hopefully i'l get a chance to use it if i start NG+

If you're going for a ng+ run, sure, one of the best persona out there.

New Game +, previous run must be True Ending, and you need to have max social links on the core crew in order to summon him. You also can't register him and he's level 91.

If you are just looking for persona's that can dominate content, technically any time after hitting level 25, when there is a skill change fusion day, you are capable of getting several of the highest tier skills on personas.

Tried that with kaiwan, wanted to get victory cry early but i tried for an hour with no luck.
