Question for day april 24th

Hi im following a guide (but not from the beginning) that states at 4/24 (Su) Sunny Magician will Rank up to 4 but i just get the generic cutscene with yosuke and no rank up from 3 to 4. Does this mean i screwed up somewhere prior to following the guide and basically the only way is to restart the whole game or can i somehow rescue that later or is it not THAT important?

You probably didn't have enough points for it to level up.
You will be able to get it later.

Probably this guide also assume that you have Persona matching your social link during hanging out. You get bonus notes to your relationship if you have it.

i have the magic persona pixie but thats not enough at this point

Which guide? it is no use to follow PS2 guide because system and all that is quite different in P4G.

Looking from the guide, maybe you chose the wrong answer on the 23rd, as it says on the guide:
"What's this ergonomic bubble she's asking about!?"

Also (forgot to emntion as well), did you have a Pixie on your last rank up? If you didn't, you may not win enough points for a rank up.
One thing to make note when using guides is that you gotta follow it trough like it's a bible.

Actually you CAN play them blind. You will miss some stuff, but the games aren't that punishing.

Hell, I've played all Persona games since 1 and never used a guide.

you can play blind and ignore min-max thing
carry over social stats/persona and go for max social link in new game+

It's more fun and less stressful that way, and a more proper play through can be done in NG+.

The only thing you basically need to look up is that one scene at the end.
The rest are more fun when playing blindly!
