IMO for most of the time I don't go back to grind old dungeon unless I have quests
you can exploit enemy pretty easy with status effect/element weakness
To do that, at least in the Vita version, first you'd need someone with healing skills and an accessory with Invigorate 2 (preferably the main character, since he can have personas with Invigorate as well, and, iirc, Invigorate 3 stacks with 1 and 2). After setting up, get any of your characters, plus the Personas you want to level up, to the first dungeon and auto-battle your way through the first floor enemies.
You'll want to get either Skill Level Up or Persona Level Up when they appear in the shuffle time.
Also, items that recover SP help with the process, so keep an eye for chests ( BUT DO NOT OPEN THE CHEST THAT GIVES AN OMNIOUS MESSAGE, OR YOU'LL FACE A SUPERBOSS )
It may be pretty grindy, but at least it's pretty easy and also helps with recovering SP without needing to return to the real world and, consequently, losing a day. And, for recovering everyone's SP at once, I'd suggest buying 3-4 Invigorate accessories and equiping each character with one.
I hope this helps.
If you can unlock a persona with native invigorate 1, you can use it as a fusion fodder to get any other persona invigorate. Iirc, the first persona of the Aeon arcana has native invigorate 1, and its base level is somewhere around 12.
Also, give me a few minutes because I don't quite remember how I unlocked the invigorate accessories from the metalworks..
Ok, after some digging, it seems you need to go to either 3rd or 4th floor of the 2nd dungeon, Steamy Bathhouse, find a Pursuing Pesce shadow, have a character be inflicted with fear and wait for the Pursuing Pesce to summon a Phantom Master. These Phantom Masters then drop an item known as Magic Cloth. If you sell 10 Magic Clothes to Deidara in Inaba, you'll unlock the Mage's Mark for purchase. According to the Wiki, this is the accessory that gives Invigorate 1/recovers 3 SP per turn.
But mind this is information found with digging FAQs and the Wiki, so take it with a grain of salt.
there's no real need to get the invigorate though, because after rise's dungeon practically every dungeon you can just talk to fox and recover and have money to spare
Found more info on the Wiki.
Regarding the Pursuing Pesce (looks like a whale):
Pursuing Pesce shadows appear in the floors 1 through 5 and the floor 8 of the Steamy Bathhouse. They will attempt to use Evil Touch to instill Fear in the party and then summon a Phantom Master. Unlike Persona 4, they may summon multiple Phantom Masters per battle.
Regarding the Phantom Masters (tall and slender shadows with a lantern in their torso):
Phantom Masters will be summoned by Pursuing Pesce when at least one character is afflicted with the Fear status, however they may also appear on their own. They may drop Smoky Quartz upon defeat. (this thing about Smoky Quartz got me confused...)
Since I worked a lot with fusions in my first playthrough, I'd have to grind a lot to get money, and so the fox was kinda useless to me.
