Joker?

Hello, I am a HUGE fan of Smash Bros and my favorite character to play is Joker, he’s really cool and has major swagger. According to smash he is in Persona 5 (which has a GREAT soundtrack btw, the song called mass destruction is my all time fav) which I think comes after this game. so is he in this one? Like does this game take place before he becomes a thief like he is in smash? I looked at the games steam page and it looks like it has a lot of dating just like persona five has so i was also wondering if joker’s girlfriend (the blond girl in the red costume) is in it too. I haven’t played persona 5 yet but if this one is a prequel to the story of joker i will play it first for story reasons. Thanks for reading and helping :)

Persona games each have their own cast and story to tell. While they all take place in the same universe, they are always a few years apart, but they don't have anything to do with one another.
Each Persona game is pretty much a standalone (even tho you do get some nice references from previous games here and there.. like that trip to P3's city in P4) but that's that.

So nope, no Joker or any other P5 characters in this one.
