You get a save point before the boss room if I remember right. No quick saves.

Welcome to how rpg's used to be before they all started babying players. Also you can go to the entrance to save, and I am sure there are save rooms in the dungeon as well.

In P4G there are no saves in the dungeon, only at the entrance.

You can always leave the current dungeon, save, and return to the floor you left off. But yes, it is more cumbersome. As others have pointed out, though, this is basically a remastered rerelease of a 12 year old game. I'm not sure how this feature can surprise anyone over the age of 20.

Besides what's been mentioned so far you can play around stairways to save some progress. The game lets you retry from the start of the floor you were knocked out in and you'll have your progress up to the point where you started on that floor. So what you can do is head up or down some stairs once you want to save; like if you found a good item or persona in the shuffle. If you should get knocked out again you'll retry from the point you last traveled between floors.

This is correct. You get one at the end of each dungeon.

Oh man if you think the first dungeon is too long..... Prepare yourself.

The first dungeon can be finished in one in game day if you're well prepared but after that the dungeons have Way more floors and have to be finished across multiple in game days.

Yeah it is like the game tries to enforce good play out of you with limited save system and risk of loosing a lot of progress unless you make right decisions to not loose that load of progress or something.

It is like quicksave feature breaks the games that it is put into that never should have it in first place I.E. Silent Hill 2.

Do not worry, all bosses let you retry them. Maybe. Maybe all maybe just the few first ones I dunno. I never DIE because I am not a bish.

The is no save at the end of the dungeons in P4G on Vita. Did they add them to PC version?

I should probably clarify, that theres one before the final boss of each dungeon /atleast in the ps2 version).

Interesting. I only played the ps2 version so Golden is new to me. Sounds like a good challenge.

basically the way you progress "safely" through dungeons is you buy a bunch of "Goho-M" then everytime you reach a new floor and you feel like your HP/SP is low or enemies are kicking your ass just use the Goho-M to return to the dungon's entrance, save, then you can skip to the current floor.

Not really) On all difficulty below Very Hard, if you die, you restart from begginning of current floor, on VH you get game over.
