You can move the install folder through steam, right click P4G->properties->local files->move install folder.
EDIT: Yep. Seemed to work. It may be that the game only likes the C drive, or the drive that has your OS installed on it. Although a friend of mine installed it to his I drive. It doesn't have the OS on it but it does have some OS files? Its also an internal drive, while my E drive is external, so it may actually be that the game doesn't like external drives.
Running on Bootcamp Windows 10
Hey man, the link you provided just redirected me to the General Discussion page. Can you explain it here?
1. Install P4G as normal
2. Install Link Shell extension: https://schinagl.priv.at/nt/hardlinkshellext/linkshellextension.html Quick start > Download once there.
(this is just for ease of use. If you know how to make symbolic links with CMD you can do that)
3. Go to Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools - Create and format hard disk partitions.
4. At the top select Action > Create VHD. You can put it anywhere but I recommend the root of C: Make sure the size is set to at least 4G. The other options are fine so leave at default.
5. You should see a new partition with your main one. Right-click and choose initialize disk. Change GPT option to MBR. Everything else can stay at default. Then on the part that says 'unallocated' right-click and choose New Simple Volume. You can name and decide on a letter for this new drive. Leave the rest at default settings.
6. Open the path to your P4G game files. For example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Persona 4 Golden
7. Cut the 'SND' folder. Navigate to your new VHD. It should be a vhd or vhdhx file. Open and paste the folder inside. Then Right-click folder and choose 'Pick Link Source'.
8. Go back to the P4G main folder. Right-click inside the root and choose Drop as > Symbolic Link. It should look like a shortcut that says 'SND'.
9. Close everything out and boot up P4G. And if everything was done correctly you should now have a perfectly functional Persona 4 Golden with sound!
***For stability reasons I also suggest patching the P4G executable to make it Large Address Aware. Some performance issues may be solved this way. https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/large-address-aware.112556/
