Yes it has a time limit, you can lock yourself out of 100% completion if you don't take specific action routes

very.

This game is meant to be played and finished through multiple times, just play at your own pace.

Yeah, the game ends when you've gone through a whole year (minus timeskips)

New Game Plus better have a way to just skip to the 16th because MOST of my day was listening to Chie and Yosuke wonder if they'd be dating the same girl.

Yes, time management is the single most important element of the game outside of the dungeon crawling. Don't expect to do everything on a first playthrough, but make sure you're not doing anything that'll make you waste time like going to bed unless the game forces you to, or going back to Dojima's early. You'll also get a game over if you wait too long to rescue somebody, especially since reaching the boss will probably take multiple trips.

Is there a new game plus? Because the opening is hillariously long and I'm not sure I can press A through Yosuke and Chie freaking out about having the same soulmate or Yu taking forever to realize the Midnight Channel is linked to various deaths.

New Game Plus exists. Let’s you carry your money, equipment, and registered Persona’s.

About the time limit. If you fail, the game rewinds one week of progress

Pressing pause let’s you fast forward. You still have to sit through it, but it goes by much faster

you can press the pad buttpon on a ds4 during all scenes to FFWD them ( literally ) even on yor first playthrough.
not ideal, but yeah.
it does pause for your choices, though...

i'd just follow max social link guide

There are things that can only be done from the second playthrough (A secret boss, personas, conversation choices) so also unless you are a perfectionist, I would say that you don't worry so much about getting everything in the first playthrough
Ad Astreya Jun 13, 2020 @ 7:56pm
There's a skip button that'll fast-forward through dialogue and cutscenes, with the same speed and style as a VCR.

That’s a horrible way to play on your first run. Completely ruins the freedom the game is supposed to give
