P4G are you able to launchi it without internet

lately ive been having issues with my net and sometimes it gets cut out for a few days/week and ive bought some games that i can play in the downtime of the net.

i know that this is a single player game like fallout/deus ex so would this work and launch even if i was offline?

or can i download it directly to my hdd and launch it myself if steam is unaccesible?

I only know that the game requires internet access once in a while to validate its files. Other than that, I don't know. Sorry.

I might be wrong but I don't think you can launch the game offline since it has Denuvo.

Some guy posted here that yes, you can play it offline. You will need to launch it at least once with internet connection though

You need to be connected when running the game for the first time. Then you can play offline for a week or two.

I played it offline yesterday for a few hours. Worked fine.

I played it yesterday when the internet was down at my house for a few hours. At some points it will need internet for a Denuvo check. But not sure how often that is.

People say it's USUALLY a week, but I think it varies.

I remember playing Tales of Berseria for 26 days without Internet and the game ran fine. Eventually, Denuvo nagged me, so I just used my phone to connect my PC to the Internet and allows Denuvo do do it's thing.

steam will pretty much always allow you to start your games offline

You are forced to launch it with your computer connected to the internet every two weeks due to the Denuvo DRM. After that, you can play offline until your Denuvo activation expires.
