please add 21:9 ultrawide support most people are using 21:9 monitors by now

I know 1 person out of all my friends with an ultra wide. MOST PEOPLE are not using 21:9.

I'm using an ultrawide but I am not delusional enough to think most people are using 21:9.

Look, even as someone who is using an Ultrawide, saying most are using it is a HUUUUGE nope. Also, it's a JRPG by a Japanese dev. There never was a chance it would have ultrawide support. You can maybe hope for a patch, but expecting ultrawide on this is a big leap. The letterboxing on a 34-35" ultrawide makes it the equivalent of a 27" 16:9 display so it's not a huge deal anyway.

Unfortunately that wouldn't work very well in this game. Beyond what you see in the static cameras is nothing but an empty void, theres no models there.

Barely anyone has an ultrawide monitor.

Would not expect an official fix, maybe a fan hack later on.

That's why I also have a 4k TV in addition to an ultrawide monitor hooked up to my PC. Ultrawide is a very niche market compared to regular 16:9. I don't expect older Japanese ports to support it, but there will likely be a way to hack it listed on PC gaming wiki in the future.

If they go any wider that dialogue window will take up half the screen. The game was originally 4:3 and it shows in interface.

Ultrawide is possible via PS2 patches, so am sure it's somehow possible here as well.

That's great news. I doubt official ultra wide support will be added (although that would be fantastic).

It's great that the community continues to find fixes/patches for these games to add support.
