Translation
Did they fix the translation?
When I played undubbed version on my vita, a half of honorifics were different than in original audio (and generally P5 translation is like universe better)
For example there's
Female-chan
and in subs
Female-san
and many many other things like this.
What's the point of using original honorifics (always appreciated btw) if you're using different ones than they used originally?

There isn't anything really to "fix". This is a localization and they chose to include honorifics for flavor more than anything else. They aren't incorrect just different from the source as localizations have to be sometimes.

Personally I think the use of honorifics in a localization is always stupid because it's a lazy half step in writing but this is the style Atlus has chosen to stick with.

Again, what's the point of using Japanese honorifics if they didn't use it like they were used originally. That's literally as dumb as dubbing idea itself.
It's probably the dumbest thing that I've ever seen. I mean, it's just idiotic.

I don't care about your opinion though. I always appreciate if translators are sticking close to original and Japanese honorifics are untranslatable, so it's way better to include them, but I didn't start this topic to argue about general honorifics usage.

The point, I suspect, is that they want the localization to "feel" Japanese more than to be literal because purely literal translations are usually rather poor. Therefore they maintain correct, if occasionally different, honorifics to maintain that while they massage the dialogue as needed for localization.

Bear in mind that this game did not originally have dual audio so there wasn't a dissonance between hearing one honorific if you chose to play with Japanese and reading another in localized text.
