Direct Input/Playstation button prompt support?

I know it might seem trivial but just wondering if anyone could confirm if this game fully support direct input/auto switches to display playstation button prompts when direct input is detected? Wondering since I know catherine classic has full direct input support, Thanks

Yes it does!

Make sure you have the dualshock controller support off in steam configuration since it emulates xinput controllers.

I'm getting xbox prompts while using a Dualshock 4. How do I switch to Dualshock 4 prompts?

Using a PS4 Controller I have Steam Settings > General Controller Settings > PlayStation Configuration Support turned on. The game showed X input prompts
I have to right click P4G > Properties > Steam Input Per-Game Setting to Forced Off.
The game now shows PS4 button prompts.

I just tried it and it only works with wired. If I use bluetooth it doesn't work

i got it to work wirelessly, you have to **entirely** disable steam's ds4 config and disconnect from steam big picture if youre on wireless. the game itself supports ds4 controllers, so you dont need to use steam's configuration.

So here's what worked for me using DualShock 4 wirelessly over a regular Bluetooth dongle:
(1). Steam > Setting > Controller > General controller setting > Playstation configuration support (ON).
(2).Library > Persona 4 Golden > properties > Steam Input Per-Game Setting (Forced Off).
(3).Start DS4Windows > Select your controller > Edit (profile) > Click (Other) tab > Under Controller Select (DualShock 4) > Click Apply and Save.

Does anyone have a solution for ds3? I'm using software to reconfigure it to x-input, as ds3 does not work otherwise. The issue is that Steam recognizes it as a 360 controller. Is there any way I can get P4 to display playstation button prompts?
